Part Time Theater Teaching Artist – Creative Drama (Mainstage Center for the Arts)
A part-time Theater Teaching Artist is sought for a Creative Drama program in Blackwood, NJ. The class meets for 8 consecutive Wednesdays beginning April 8 from 3:10–4:10 PM, serving students in Grades 3–5 in a co-teaching format with classes of up to 20 students. This introductory theater program focuses on imagination, storytelling, movement, and character-building through interactive games and activities in a supportive, ensemble-based environment. The Teaching Artist will collaborate with a co-teacher to plan and lead weekly lessons, guide students in basic theater skills including improvisation, voice, movement, and storytelling, and foster a positive, inclusive, and creative classroom environment.
Compensation: $400 stipend

Director of Major Gifts - The Count Basie Center for the Arts
The Director of Major Gifts is a front line fundraising professional responsible for developing, managing, and growing a robust major gifts program to support the organization’s mission and long-term sustainability. This role oversees a portfolio of high capacity individual donors and prospects, leads strategy for cultivation and stewardship, and manages two team members. As a key member of the Development team, the Director contributes to meeting overall departmental fundraising goals while also achieving assigned individual performance targets.

Assistant Lighting Supervisor - Passage Theatre Company
The Assistant Lighting Supervisor supports the Master Electrician in executing all lighting operations for TrentonPremieres, TrentonPresents, and TrentonMakes at Mill Hill Playhouse. This seasonal role follows an alternating schedule of on- and off-production periods throughout the year. Responsibilities include assisting with hang, focus, patching, strike, and load-out, as well as maintaining and organizing lighting inventory. The role collaborates closely with lighting designers and production teams to interpret and implement lighting plans, while reviewing plots, cue lists, and technical paperwork. The Assistant Lighting Supervisor also troubleshoots equipment and electrical issues and ensures all systems are installed and operated safely. Candidates should have at least two years of technical theatre lighting experience and familiarity with ETC lighting consoles, DMX systems, and standard lighting equipment. Tech Assistant - Passage Theatre Company
The Technical Assistant supports the Technical Director, Stage Supervisor, and Production Manager in the construction and installation of scenic, lighting, and audio/visual elements for productions and rentals at Passage Theatre. This part-time role averages 20 hours per week and follows a seasonal schedule with alternating on- and off-production periods throughout the year. Responsibilities include hanging, cabling, patching, and focusing lighting instruments, as well as setting up microphones, speakers, and other audio equipment. The role may also operate lighting or sound boards during technical rehearsals and assist with building and installing scenic elements. Audio Engineer (Production Specific) - Passage Theatre Company
The Audio Engineer oversees all sound-related aspects of productions at Passage Theatre, from planning and installation through operation and maintenance. This role averages up to 20 hours per week in the off-season and up to 30 hours per week during the on-season, supporting rentals, summer programming, and two mainstage productions. Responsibilities include collaborating with the Sound Designer and production team to execute sound designs, reviewing sound plots and cue sheets, and coordinating system logistics. The Audio Engineer supervises installation, tuning, and testing of sound systems, including microphone placement, wiring, and signal flow. This role also supports programming and cueing during technical rehearsals, mixes performances or supervises operators, and troubleshoots issues in real time. Additional responsibilities include managing sound notes, maintaining equipment, and overseeing strike, load-out, and proper storage of audio gear. Head Carpenter (Production Specific) - Passage Theatre Company
The Head Carpenter oversees all scenic construction, installation, and maintenance for theatrical productions, ensuring designs are executed safely and effectively. This role collaborates closely with the Scenic Designer, Director, and Production Manager to interpret drawings, develop build plans, and manage budgets and materials. Responsibilities include supervising the construction of scenic elements such as platforms, flats, and set pieces, as well as leading load-ins, installations, and rigging. The Head Carpenter ensures all scenery functions as intended, troubleshooting structural or mechanical issues as needed. This position also leads and manages the scenic crew, including hiring, scheduling, and assigning daily tasks in coordination with production leadership. During rehearsals and performances, they maintain the safety, stability, and overall quality of all scenic elements while ensuring compliance with OSHA and venue standards. Box Office Representative - The Count Basie Center for the Arts

Reporting to the Box Office Manager, the Box Office Representative will handle customer interactions efficiently and professionally, assist with daily sales reconciliation, ticket account management and fulfillment, and guest services. Hours will vary based on the venue’s schedule, and representatives must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum of two shifts per week. Reporting to the Director of Production Management, this individual will be responsible for all theatrical lighting systems, related equipment, maintenance, and upgrades as applicable. Specifically, the individual will be responsible for: Managing all audio and video equipment and storage;
Supervising or assisting all lighting and sound installations as needed;
Supervising related support staff, student employees, and credit-bearing student assistants; Oversight of safety protocols of general operations and protection of equipment and inventory of the Department of Performing Arts; and assisting external offices as needed with any maintenance of the theatrical spaces and consulting on any upgrades or special projects occurring within or supporting the theatrical spaces.

West End Arts Event Supervisor - New Jersey Repertory Company
New Jersey Repertory Company (NJRep), a nationally acclaimed non-profit professional theater located steps away from the Jersey Shore in Long Branch will be opening their second space, The West End Arts Center, located in the West End section of Long Branch, in March 2026 and is looking for an event supervisor to work events. The event supervisor will serve as the on-site point of contact during events. This position coordinates production, stage management, box office and front-of-house to make sure that guests’ needs are met and exceeded. The position is expected to arrive two hours prior to the start of the event and stay through the event and close and secure the venue. Ideal candidate will have great problem-solving skills and will be able troubleshoot unexpected problems effectively. This position will be scheduled for up to 20 hours per week in 5-hour shifts. Box Office Clerk - New Jersey Repertory Company
New Jersey Repertory Company (NJRep), a nationally acclaimed non-profit professional theater located steps away from the Jersey Shore in Long Branch will be opening their second space, The West End Arts Center, located in the West End section of Long Branch, in March 2026 and is looking for a box office clerk to work events. Representing the box office at the newly opened facility, the box office clerk will assist patrons with day-of-show ticketing issues. This includes helping customers purchase tickets for day-of shows, locating lost orders and tickets, reprinting tickets as needed, and any other day-of-show ticketing needs.This position will be scheduled for up to 15 hours per week in 4-hour shifts. We seek candidates specializing in various genres, including but not limited to dance, hip-hop, cultural dance forms, creative dance and movement, poetry, acting, improv, voice and speech, creative drama, reader’s theater, musical theater, vocal, choir and instrumental instruction, drumming, and more.
This ideal candidate is responsible for teaching private lessons to students of all ages and abilities. The ability to teach beginning students is necessary. This individual must show organizational skills and an ability to effectively communicate with students, parents and staff.
Compensation: $40 – $60 an hour.
